Remember the old classic "PacMan"? If you do, you should have an idea what this MOD is about. If you don't.. then you've missed out :P Anyway, in PacUT players compete for the yellow dots scattered around the levels. There are two general types of dots: Small and Big dots. The Small dots gives you points, so you need them in order to win a match. The winner of the game is the player with most Small dots when there are none left on the level, or when the time runs out. The Big dots... can give the one picking them up either a good or bad effect - you don't know until you pick them up! That's what makes the matches funny, because they've a great variety: Speed Dots, Invulnerability Dots, Air Dots (you "fly" with them), Invisibility Dots, Aura Dots, Virus Dots, HicUp Dots (A.k.a LOL Dots), Repel Dots (another funny Dot) and Glue Dots. The mod has a great configuration, where you'll be able to set the chances for Dots to appear in game, the amount of dropped Dots on deaths, etc. It looks a weird mod, but this ancient jewel is still a very entertaining mod. |

Pearman is a comic deathmatch (???) modification that brings new models, maps and weapons. The graphic is nice, the maps too... the weapons aren't that great, but some of them are a lot funny. Weapons: if used right. [*]Fighting hands: slaps and punches everywhere! |

The Perfect Dark mod is a UT modification based on Perfect Dark (N64). The basic premise is to combine the style and power of UT with the massive content of Perfect Dark, while at the same time improving upon PD's blatant errors (i.e., slow, cumbersome movement) and maybe adding (optional) new features. While the PD weapons will be, for the most part, true to the originals, some allowances must be made. For example, UT has no built in "Action" button (for opening doors, reloading, etc.) so this functionality must be built in using similar effects. The maps are true to the original, as much as can be, but cannot be perfect renditions. Some scaling issues have been uncovered in certain maps, as well as some questions of physical feasability. All in all, the maps are accurate representations of what once was... Movement speeds and accelerations are not quite addressed yet. Any Perfect Dark fan can tell you that you moved faster when strafing instead of just walking forward. While that feature is...odd, to say the least, I have no doubt it is possible to implement. ---- The Perfect Dark mod files have a temporary

Project United Defense Research is a single player mod for Unreal Tournament. You play a Security Officer in a research laboratory which has been taken over by Skaarj. They've also stolen sensitive information on creating a Teleporter capable of transporting thousands of troops, this information is your wife. Cervaka has spent the last seven years studying Nali Teleportation, and has discovered how it is achieved. The Skaarj, despite years of torturing Nali, never could extract the information from them, perhaps because the Nali themselves, never knew the science behind it. Can you save your lover? Or will you die trying? |

News: Project Zephon: Battle for freedom is a first-person shooter designed for UnrealTournament. It features full support for singleplayer mode as well as online cooperative mode. It is planned that the original development team makes an extra pack containing various multiplayer maps built in Zephon style, after the mod is completed. It will also be ported to Unreal shortly after it's original release. The mod currently entered beta tests. ---- Project Zephon Current status update from marine HQ regarding the recent events on Zephon: Zephon was a hostile planet at first, the cold atmosphere (up to -50° C) made life on this planet impossible. It all started with the beginning of the terra-forming wars, when human colonies like Mars and Venus attacked the terra-forming installations of the NEG on various planets all across the known universe. They attempted in stealing their technologies and invading planets which have just fallen under the occupation of Terran forces. The Skaarj took a large profit of the situation and took control over a series of strategically important planets. Zephon was one of those planets, and the battles that took place on its surface were immense. Source of infinite nitrogen due to the high numbers of glaciers and underground exploitations, humans used terra-forming to use nitrogen as primary energy. The Skaarj made several attempts to take control of the planet, but received heavy resistance from the Terran forces based on the surface of the planet. We suppose a mother ship crashed high in the mountains during one of those battles, but we found no evidence what so ever verifying that, so we are unable to prove it. After the battles which left the Terran forces on the planet in victory, the marines established a series of security installations so extraction and processing of nitrogen started again. Fifty years have passed since than, the colonists have build countless factories, expanded underground mines and improved cities on the planet?s surface and the planet gradually won independency from the NEG. Marines left the planet after the Skaarj had been taken care of. But problems arose now. A few days ago we received strange messages without any real signification and we haven?t heard from the planet since. We must discover what happened on the planet and resolve any problems that might have occurred. I already talked to commander Riley about this problem and he left towards Zephon with UMS-Sakura and a group of marines to investigate recent events. >>>> Message end <<<< ---- |

Projectile Swapper is a small weapon mutator for Unreal Tournament that allows you to choose what kind of projectiles every weapon uses for both primary and secondary fire modes. Projectile speed adjustment is also available, allowing a sniper rifle to use rockets, and other such unusual combinations. Only projectiles are available to swap into a weapon. Trace fires such as the Enforcer, Minigun, and Sniper Rifle are not swappable. However, those trace weapons can accept swapped projectiles, such as a Minigun firing rockets, etc. ---------------- |
