Real Tournament: Clan Wars is a team based add-on to Unreal Tournament, focusing on "clan" or persistent group loyalties in both single player and online competition. -- The Liandri monopoly on the sport they themselves created began to disintegrate. Decried by critics for their ruthless business practices and underhanded dismantling of the competition, it became necessary for the New Earth Government to intercede. Into the vacuum of power left by the hamstringing of Liandri control came squadrons of eager businessmen, adventurers, mercenary groups and even religious institutions. Success in the Tournament means more than just having kicked millions of ass, it means stardom, riches and perhaps even a lucrative career in politics or product endorsement. While the most noticable difference on the surface is the influx of new combatants, several other more deepseated tremors ran through the tournament body, including new weaponry, variations on the accepted rule structure and a much greater variety and flavor of arena scenario. It's hard to argue with the critics -- the Tournament has far surpassed its orginal heritage, it has now become a cultural pillar of the known galaxy, where combatants, governments and private institutions struggle for power, using handpicked pawns and near-superhuman champions to bring glory and power to thier agenda. The irony is that though the tournament was originally created to sudue socially destructive violence, the grand proportion of the contemporary tournament suggests that it has become an arena for symbolic politcal and idealogical struggle and could in the end, escalate into more conventional galactic warfare. It's called Residual Decay. A term applied to the collapse in cellular structure of an organism that has been overexposed to the harmful effects of teleportation. -Residual
Decay is currently in
development.- Residual Decay is the third and final chapter in the Jones Saga. You play as Jones once again, continuing immediately where 7 Bullets left off. Saved by the best synthetics medical science can afford, Jones survives his mauling at the hands of the Scarred One. However, he is no longer the man he used to be. Artificial organs replace those lost to his nemesis. A robotic eye witnesses the grim silence of a bittersweet victory. Vicious scars branch out across the face that sold millions of military applications. Teetering on the last leg of a downward spiral, Jones' superiors comfort him with the assurance that the blood of his friend Crowley would not be spent in vain, for the recovery of their data template has saved Inuit's stock for at least the next ten years. Sitting in his cabin, Jones toasts to his dead comrades and drinks himself into oblivion. An unspecified amount of time later, Jones wakes up. But something is wrong. He finds himself alone on board a vacant starship. While investigating for others, he begins to hear strange noises echoing in the distance. Some of those noises are voices, calling him. Stranger still, segments of the ship stand in front of him that were not there before. Eventually Jones will find gateway portals onboard his ship that take him to different worlds. In order to find out what is happening to him, Jones will have to plunge into unknown dangers that exist beyond the tender fabric of space time. He will have to think, search, and eventually fight his way through insane situations in order to escape this nightmare New Features

Revenge is a small mutator that makes killing the guy who just killed you more rewarding. You will receive 5 points (4 bonus points by default) instead of the normal 1 point if your next kill is your last killer. This brings some strategy to Deathmatch games, as sometimes dying and killing your killer is worthier than trying to survive as long as you can just to get the "ultimate armory". Rocket Arena brings 1 on 1 combats to UT, where players fight in rounds, with a few maps allowing 2 on 2 combats. Every player will start with 100 Health and 100 Armor... and all the game weapons (except the Redeemer, of course). There're no Health items, Weapons or Pickups in the levels, so you have to show you real skills. In addition, the "Self Damage" has been removed, so you can Rocket Jump as you wish :D. It includes its own maps, which are excelent for RA:UT, but you can also play matches in normal DM maps. |

This mod was inspired by Bazooka Quake 3, a Q3A
mod where you only have the rocket launcher and
pick up different types of ammunition for it, like
concussion missiles or rocket pods. Rockets UT features lots of new rocket
launchers: The Turret Placer can launch one of five
different turrets: There are also various armor pickups and powerups, including spiced up versions of UT's Invisibility, Damage Amplifier and Shield Belt. |
