Then go into buildings below to battle in levels like Killbox and Checkmate. Mars Wars promises to bring you non-stop action and entertainment! If you're tired of the ever-growing collection of mods that claim unique and groundbreaking gameplay without ever delivering, Mowbray's Revenge might be the mod for you.


Picture ad-hoc robots sumo wrestling over pits of boiling marshmallow and you are getting close to the concept of Mowbray's Revenge. Without ever taking itself very seriously, the mod delivers a fast-paced 3rd person experience - characters roll and bounce off each other in a number of strategic and exciting ways in the fight for the highest ground.


You will find an additional 18 pickups roaming around the maps in balls of fluffy purple goo. Widely varied, each is truely unique in its function - some (like the skull and dunce cap) have negative effects whilst others (like the nuclear puck and weasel) can be used aggressively. Still more (like the parachute and grappling hook) have a more defensive use. You can only hold one at a time, so be careful in the choice you make. Each may save your life in certain situations.


Add to the mix destructible environments, randomly generated levels and a character design system that allows you to create your own warrior by throwing together pieces from other characters, and you have a truely unique and exciting game that will entertain you for ages.

inside the building. With the people locked inside the tower, the AD Police staff could mobilize and take out the terrorist

force on its own turf.


The Uniforms


Members of the AD Police are not forced to wear a specific uniform for normal occasions such as in the squad rooms. However

they are required to wear proper uniforms at formal ceremonies. They are also required to wear protective clothing and helmets

had carry ordinance designed for boomer enforcement when out on duty. The protective clothing is a type of composite armour

made from a lightweight polymer alloy - rendering it "bullet proof" under normal conditions. The armour is also capable of

protecting the user from a nano-stampede for a short period of time. This is done by activating a thermo-electric system inside

the armour, however the activation of this system can also harm the user if it is running for extended periods of time. The

helmet is made of the same composite armour. It is equipped with an infinite focus monitor and live video feed, activated by

lowering the visor. Audio communication is achieve through a built-in microphone and headset. Input can be activated by voice

command or through the "motion captures" feature built into "smart gloves" and virtual keyboards. This feature is very useful

during covert operations however not all AD Police officers are skilled at "blind touch" communications. The helmet also

featured a light-amplifier that produces simulated night-vision.


The Ordinance


The A.D. Police use 9mm "JGSDF" standard issue handguns and sub-machineguns that can be equipped with laser targeting systems

and lamps. The "Sniper Squad" is trained in the use of "JGSDF" sniper rifles. Specialised ammunition is employed depending on

the situation

FMJ: Full Metal Jacket. Armour piercing bullets with no real destructive power.

EX: Explosive Bullet. Excellent destructive power, but no piercing effect.

EEX: Electric Explosion. An electromagnetic pulse bullet.

CD: Core Destruction. (Only available for sniper rifles) Used exclusively for destroying boomer cores.


Grenade launchers, shotguns, and electromagnetic rail cannons (capable of firing bullets at supersonic speed) are part of the


A.D. Police arsenal. Several types of hand grenades are used by the A.D. Police for immobilisation or to disable visual sensors


("Flash Bang"). The A.D. Police employ super-directional explosives for breaching walls. Reminiscent of a fishing pole with

small weights attached, this device will blast a customized hole depending on the way it is attached when detonated. They also

use explosive barricades to stop boomers, and "stun guns" to slow down nano-stampedes.


The Terminology


"Sequence B" Outbreak:

Indicates a boomer incident where a program-stampede (an out-of-control program deviating from a programmer's original intent)

has developed. This type of outbreak must be dealt with before it evolves into a nano-stampede. A.D. Police is dispatched to

the site of such disturbances in high-speed army personnel transports.


"Sequence N" Outbreak:

Indicates a boomer incident where a nano-stampede (fusion with mecha) has developed. In these situations, the A.D. Police

augment their normal gear with thermal protectors and utilize special duty heavy armoured cars.


"Sequence IR" Outbreak:

Indicates a boomer incident involving an illegal modification (Illegal Remodelling). Various courses of action can be taken

depending on the situation, so an investigative squad is sent in first to determine what equipment to use.


Sequence Disposal Complete:

Effective once a boomer core has been destroyed. At this point, the A.D. Police are obligated to contact Genom Corporation and

file accidental damage / loss reports.

The AD Police use a variety of heavy artillery and vehicles to control boomer crimes. Some noticeable ones are the patrolling

AD Police cars, the personal helicopters called Fire-bee's and the heavily armoured K-Suits.


Squad Car

These police cars have all the usual features common to a normal police car. However, the do have a sleek design and are easily

recognised as AD Police cars. These cars seat two officers and are generally used to patrol and monitor areas of Tokyo and to

report back to the command center. The AD Police Squad Cars are apparently made by Nissan's special vehicles range, Nismo.


(Fire-bee) Attack Helicopter

These are tiny one man helicopters that are almost like airborne suits that allow the pilot to patrol the skies of Tokyo with

great ease. The Fire-bees are extremely manoeuvrable and are equipped with a single search light and cannon. Because the

Fire-bees are so light, they are extremely fragile and can easily be taken out by rogue boomers.

Mercury Missile InstaGib

With the Mercury Missiles mutators you have a rocket launcher that shots

high-speed rockets and has a configurable zoom feature. The rockets even

accelerate after being fired and can penetrate opponents once they reached a

certain velocity.


There are five different mutators available in Mercury Missiles 2:



  • Mercury Missile Arena - A configurable Mercury Launcher Arena mutator

  • Mercury Missile InstaGib - InstaGib mode, not allowed in Assault or Onslaught

  • Mercury Missile WildFire - WildFire mode, for Excessive Overkill fans

  • Mercury Missile Launcher - Only the Rocket Launcher is replaced

  • Mercury Missile Sniper - Sniper Rifles and Lightning Guns are replaced

Présentation du jeu


Le projet Misleading Lands (qui à l'époque s'appellait Fallout 3D - pas très original :P) a débuté en Eté 2003. Renegade en fut le fondateur et l'organisateur, et il fut rapidement rejoint par MacDuff et Agarix. Le projet n'était que peu travaillé car le recrutement occupait pas mal de temps. On manquait cruellement de programmeurs et d'infographistes. Aujourd'hui, nous avons une équipe stable et tous les élèments en main pour faire un bon jeu.


Misleading Lands est un projet de jeu vidéo amateur développé par une équipe de personnes voulant créer un jeu vidéo ensemble. Personne n'est payé pour participer au projet, nous mettons seulement nos connaissances en commun et gérons le projet en plus de nos autres activités (études, travail...). Nous avançons donc à notre rythme sans nous soucier des problèmes de temps et d'argent et nous nous efforçons de réaliser un travail de qualité.


L'univers de Misleading Lands est un monde déchiré par les radiations causées par la Troisième Guerre Mondiale de 2077, qui s'est déclenchée suite à de nombreux conflits concernant les rares ressources encore disponibles sur Terre et le manque de place. 80 années après, l'Habitant de l'Abri commence son aventure sur le continent Nord Américain en Californie. C'est 240 ans plus tard que l'histoire de Misleading Lands prend place en Europe. L'Europe n'a été exploitée par aucun Fallout, cela nous laisse donc une totale liberté.


Misleading Lands est un projet libre développé sous license GPL. Au terme du développement, il sera donc distribué gratuitement sur le net et peut-être par d'autres moyens (envoi de CD par la poste pour les personnes qui n'ont pas internet par exemple). Il sera compatible Linux, Windows et Mac OSX directement à la fin du développement (pas de temps d'attente pour l'adaptation).


Nous ne sommes en ce moment pas en mesure de donner une date précise de sortie. Nous avons déjà écoulé 1 an pour constituer une équipe fonctionnant au mieux. De toutes façons, nous prendrons notre temps pour créer un jeu qui, nous l'espérons, marquera ceux qui y joueront, comme l'ont fait les deux premiers Fallout.

Presentation of the play


The project Misleading Lands (which at the time appellait Fallout 3d - not very original ) began in Summer 2003. Renegade was the founder and the organizer, and it was quickly joined by MacDuff and Agarix. The project was only little worked because recruitment did not occupy badly of time. One cruelly missed programmers and computer graphics experts. Today, we have a stable team and all the élèments in hand to make a good play.


Misleading Lands is a project of video game amateur developed by a team of people wanting to create a video game unit. Nobody is paid to take part in the project, we puts only our joint knowledge and manages the project in addition to our other activities (studies, work...). We thus advance at our rate/rhythm without us to trouble about the problems of time and to money and we endeavour to complete a work of quality.


The universe of Misleading Lands is a world torn by the radiations caused by the Third World war of 2077, which started following many conflicts concerning the rare resources still available on Earth and the lack of place. 80 years after, the Inhabitant of the Shelter begins his adventure on the American Northern continent in California. They is 240 years later than the history of Misleading Lands takes seat in Europe. Europe was exploited by no Fallout, that thus leaves us a total freedom.


Misleading Lands is a free project developed under license LPG. At the end of the development, it will thus be distributed free on the Net and perhaps by other means (CD sending by the post office for the people which do not have Internet for example). It will be compatible Linux, Windows and Mac OSX directly at the end of the development (not of latency for the adaptation).


We are not in this moment not able to give a precise date of exit. We already ran out 1 year to constitute a team functioning as well as possible. In any case, we will take our time to create a play which, we hope for it, will mark those which will play there, like made the first both Fallout.

Mr.Pants' Excessive Overkill for UT2003

Excessive is an over-the-top mod that makes all the weapons super-powerful, turns off self-damage, gives all the players regenerating health and ammo, and makes every game into a wild and crazy frag-fest! In the fast and furious bloodfest that is Excessive, it's not about staying alive; it's about taking as many people as possible out with you.


This version is highly configurable for both servers and clients. In the download section you should be able to find both UMOD and ZIP versions to download. Many thanks to everyone involved in testing the final version.

Muralis is the ultimate multiplayer hand-to-hand combat experience that combines all the elements you've come to enjoy from Unreal Tournament 2004 to 3rd person fighting games.


Muralis's gameplay currently combines hand to hand fighting and melee weapon fighting. With projectile weapons like guns in the not to distant future. Players can punch, kick,and eventually shoot and do many other things in any combination they choose. This is part of our "open combat engine" Which will allow more freeform combo's rather than specific pathed combos found in other games. This freedom, along with other gameplay elements seperates Muralis from other games of its genre.

Mutâi

Mutai is a total conversion based on a mortal run; people participate to Mutai for fame and fortune, pride and prestige.


Choose between 7 different characters : All of them have a specific hitorical backgroung leading him to the Mutai Contest and they also specific physical abilities : Force, Agility and Endurance.


Gametypes

- Mob Run

The objective of the game is to deliver several tokens to their respective goals. To achieve this, the player has a variety of hand-to-hand combat moves (such as punches, kicks and tackles) and weapons. Each token is situated in its specific spot in the level, has its specific color and must be delivered to its specific target of the same color. Only one token at a time is active. The rest appear in the level, but cannot be taken until the active token is delivered or expires.The game ends when all the tokens have been delivered. The winner is whoever delivered the most tokens.


- Team Run

Takes place on the Mob Run's maps but in teams. It combines runing gameplay and fighting like Mob Run but the winner team is the one having the best frags score


- Mutai Arena

Pure Fighting. Use the force and agility of your character to kick the opponent's Ass . Really Fun!
