GAMEOVER


Gameover is a new exiting multiplayer mod for Unreal Tournament 3 which has  lots of new features, an new gamemode and high detailed models.


Fight either with the "Bundeswehr"/"KSK" or with BioX Security Force/Dogs of War.

Use new and deathly weapons to win the match.

Play the new gamemode "Dodgewar" with 32 other people around the world on atmospheric and big maps like "Berlin" .

Use the new features of the commander mode to support and lead your team to win the match.


The Story:

The year is 2012. The nations have lost the control over their parlaments. The world is afraid of an unknown danger. Old confederacies deteriorate. The arms industry profits by this omnipresent fear.


At the top of the movement of the defence industry is "BioX Industries", no other business establishment researched and developed so many forms of weapons and -production. Even in the illegal category of genmanipulation in use of human beings takes this company many efforts to be the world market leader. BioX Industries is under suspicion of supporting mercenaries all over the world with their deadly and modern weapons.


Intelligent weapons in combination with biological attributes are the hallmark of this corporation and they have no compunctions to sustain their position by hook or by crook. The mercenary force Dogs of War is the biggest acceptor of these deadly weapons. But BioX Industries has an agenda. Silently they start to prepare the attack of their own BioX Security Force which is the world biggest and best armed army and to force the mercenaries to save and support their interest in controlling the world.


Surprised by these attack the national armies which are not aware of the situation are no match for BioX troops - at first. But the battle in the countries and cities of the world just started ...


With hoping in a safe future the Federal Republic of Germany delegates a KSK Unit to one of the Biotek Headquarters. They have the mission to find and destroy the enemie's control center. The rest of the national army is fighting in the cities for the freedom in the world.


The new gamemode(WIP):

Dodgewar is a brand new gamemode which takes the player into  epic fights.

The goal of the match is to kill the enemy team and their commander.

When you spawn you can choose between some weapon kits like anti-tank etc.

When you die you are beamed in the "Deathzone" . In this area every frag you made produce

honour points for your commander which he can use to build vehicles ,atillery and radar scans when you control these buildings which are be placed in the map. If a player from the other team dies you respawn in the mainfield.The commander can choose either to play in the deathzone and produce honour points or control the battlefield in the mainfield.

When no teammember of your group is left the commander spawn on the mainfield and must be killed by the enemy team. But when he kills an enemy 2 of your team respawn in the mainfield.

The commander has 3 lifes. When the commander dies your team has lost the match.

What is "Gangland"?


Gangland is a total conversion mod that will utilize the Unreal 3.0 engine through UnrealEd in Unreal Tournament 2k7. The mod will focus on delivering a unique Single player experience while delivering a well thought out Multi-player package as well.


Who do we play as?

In the Single player game, you will play as four main characters as the story progresses.


1. Officer mcMillan AKA Mac a dirty cop in the GPD (Gangland Police Department)

2. Tyrique Johnsnon AKA TJ, A black gangbanger.

3. Dom Monetti, a member of the Gangland MAfia

4. Ting, an asian gangbanger

5. River AKA Old man river. White member of a biker gang.


What will be so special with this mod?


Story as well as a unique approach to FPS ( There are littel to no Gang related FPS as well as FPS that have more than one main player.The game will rely heavilly on story but will be balanced with equal amounts of running and gunning. With Gangland, We are aiming to make the game where you don'g have to kill aliens or do the millitary thing; hopefully others see the merit in a game that steps outside of the box. The idea is to make a game that breaks al l the rules and does not care who it pisses off, but has people talking about it for months, and playing it for hours a day. You knew she lied about where she worked. When she went missing you vowed to find her...

your search has led you to the foot of Yucca Mountain where local people have said they have seen her.  As you explore the mountain side you uncover something you weren't ment to see, never mind USE. Be aware of your surroundings, because your skills will be tested before you reach the end of this adventure.


SPOILER ALERT:

GfG#2 is an adventure in two parts in part one you will explore the mountain and discover a facility. in part two you activate a machine that flips gravity, flooding and destroying the facility and you must escape alive and stop the expansion of the "Grav anamolie" before it reaches a nearby city.

There are two nursery rhymes invloved with the mod so far. The Muffin Man and the Three Blind Mice. After making your way into the Crooked Mansion (where the whole game is set), you will find yourself in the Mansion Foyer. At the back of the foyer is a spiral staircase that has doors leading to the different rooms of the house. Each door leads to a different fairytale.


The Three Blind Mice tale starts at the bottom of the Mansion Wine Cellar. You must find your out of the Spider infested area and make your way to the Dining Room. Here, the Three Blind Mice will shrink you down to their size using their magical capabilities. The game is then carried out on the dining room table!


The Muffin Mans tale starts one end of the 'corridor of death'. After successfully making your way down the corridor and into the ballroom, you will have to make your way through the clockwork dancers to advance to the Muffin Mans Kitchen. Here, you will battle with Gingerbread men, will have to collect screaming muffins and finally destroy the Muffin Man himself.


By successfully completing a tale/level, you will be given a page of the nursery rhyme book that will return to its original state (and also give you access to the rest of the house). The player must collect all of the books pages and eventually battle it out with the Crooked Man.


Each tale contains a fast/action and slow/puzzling gameplay experience. The diverse amount of interactiviy will surely keep the experience new and exciting for the player.

This project views our mod as a work of art tribute to the much loved original game by Rare. No Intellectual properly harm is intended. We are completely non-profit and offer the content we make into goldeneye 100% downloadable of course, in form of this free mod.


Epic Games extend their community the right to modify their game, Unreal Tournament 3, using the UE3 developer engine ; which they also provide technical support through Unrealtechnology.com However they have no link whatsoever, and no official consent to the project or the directors that manage its running.  


:: Our Goal? ::

Completely recreate the single-player and multi-player portions of the classic, goldeneye 007, but on next-generation PC technology. Once all of the huge list of original old elements are done, we will move to making extra content for each portion of the mod to give you something you never thought you'd have, or perhaps always wanted.


It will have a release structure of SP ---> MP ----> overall polish + bonus (if team members dont disperse too much)


:: First focus ::

is SP, each mission will be released one by one - the idea being that with all skill modes of play, and time attack coupled with new elements such as co-op by us (not including the 3rd party community able to achieve these gametypes with scripting) will be fair replay value for these mission increments as they come. We estimate these release gaps will be around 2 months. If development takes off however, (not saying it will of course) we will consider 2-map releases based on the general "mission" parameter established in the original.


:: Current phase:: 

Is for extending our team
(if interested sign up and apply with your skills, the earlier the better, we are in need of some dept. leader level modders foremost) and starting art works, as the engine tools like SDK will not be available for maybe months on cryengine2! Level design can start and assets can go in-game thanks to the innovative sandbox2 editor. We are developing our pipeline for cryengine2 to help new developers to our team find their place and excell in their asset production. Here is a little list of what is in store :


Expect by the end of release plan :



  • All single player missions

  • All multiplayer and single-player maps

  • All the weapons and gadgets from the original

  • All multiplayer game-modes

  • Extra multiplayer game-modes for more online replay (latter patches)

  • "All bonds" character bonus (final patches)

  • All the cheat options (as they appear in original for time attack)

  • The signature Ooo's and Ahh voiced get hit sounds

  • The ricochets and mimmicking sound effects throughout game




There is much more detail into the theory stage of this modification coming to the revised site so check it out (coming soon), and some hints will come in the forum as it gets some further members and development.
