You play the role of Shane Robbie, a new recruit into Liberia?s Emergency Preparedness Force. You must fight through hordes of mutants and uncover the mystery behind the infection that has claimed the lives of your friends and families.


In 2028, the government controls all forms of information exchange across Liberia, Washington DC. As a result, documents and archived plans kept secret over the years were documented in an underground storage facility deep beneath the government building of Liberia. Since there was no need to destroy these records due to the information monopoly, government officials kept records to analyze the effects of the propaganda on the general public. Rebels, sick of the oppression, heard of the facility and devised a plan to break into it, retrieve the documents, and release them to the public in hopes of stirring a revolt. Government officials, hearing of the Rebel?s plans, could not afford to let the incriminating files reach the public and started moving the documents to another storage facility on the other side of the city. To divert attention in case the documents were comprimised, the government staged an attack that was to mimic a terrorist attack from Singnavia, a warring country to the east. A dirty bomb was to detonate, and an epidemic was to spread, completely diverting away any attention the secret documents had. To keep the outbreak under control, Liberian biologists devised a ?programmable? virus called Pestilence, capable of receiving parameters to control the direct effect that the virus will have on human beings. Dr. Eli Lissitzki, a bio-warfare expert in the Liberian weapons labs, had been communicating with the Rebels for some time. In exchange for safe passage before the proposed revolt was to occur, Dr. Lissitzki would reveal the biological blueprints of the virus to the Rebels. The Rebels accepted.

With this new addition in their plans, Rebel leaders decided to use the programmable virus to their advantage. With blueprints in hand, they quickly engineered a counter-virus to inject new parameters into the virus that the government?s military was planning to release. Their plan backfired. The night of the operation, the transfer of the documents had almost completed, so the Rebels had to hurry. They placed explosives on the heavy gate guarding the underground entrance to the facility. As the bomb detonated, the Rebels heard another explosion from nearby, possibly three or four blocks away. It was the shopping district. Screams could be heard as debris and fire fell from the sky. The government had carried out their part of the mission, the Rebels had to as well. The team split into two groups, one to retrieve the documents, and another to detonate the counter-virus. The counter bomb was detonated as close to the original explosion as possible. As the dust clouds move towards each other, the Rebels waited to see the effects of the combination of the two viruses. Something was going terribly wrong.


Shane Robbie awoke to alarms. It was 1 am. The mechanical voice on the announcement system was warning of an approaching mob of unidentified soldiers. He was to gather his equipment and report to the gates to defend the base against the attack. As he stepped out of the barracks into the night he saw hundreds of shadowy figures in the distance. The searchlights and muzzle flashes of automated turrets revealed that they were in fact unidentified; Robbie had never seen anything like them before. In the distance, he could see flames rising from his home city of Arlington, Liberia. Robbie ran to the front-most bunker and took aim.

Phalanx takes place in an alternate universe. The world is at war and people have taken sides. Heroes of the lands rally to the cause of their homes and mercenaries provide their services to the highest bidder. These forces fight in championship battles against the most formidable teams of mercenaries, heroes and champions an opposing nation can field. The rights to contested resources and territories are decided by the champions of each land in these battles.


Players can choose from various arsenals, sets of special abilities, and armor types in order to create a character they want to play. Each character choice comes with inherent strengths and weaknesses that must be taken into account. Teams of player will need to work together to minimize any weaknesses and capitalize on their strengths.


The fast paced combat requires both clever teamwork and individual skill. Certain weaponry is more effective against certain armor, and specific defense modules are designed to counter certain types of attacks. Combine this gear with devastating and awe-inspiring special abilities and you have complex and furious combat like never before. High speed objective based game play puts the final touch on the combat in Phalanx and ensures a constantly engaging and challenging gaming experience.


Phalanx is being designed using the Source engine with the eventual goal to move to the Unreal 3 engine upon the release of Unreal Tournament 2007.

Point of Contact (POC) aims to be a small scale infantry squad simulation. By depicting real world ballistics and firearm performance, realistic player speeds and a penalization for death; POC seeks to remove the arcade elements from in-game and provide immersive engagements where the player has a vested interest in his avatar and his teammates.

This game is a TC mod build from scratch using the Unreal Engine 3 from UT3. We finializing the Game Design Document for the project what is going to be completed by the end of march 2008.


We are actually recruiting and we are planning to start the Production in a few months. It is actually planned for June 2008, but if we get our Programmers sooner then we will be able to start in April or May.


Project UM is a Next-Gen FPS bringing you into the most intense action scenes ever, offering you two major Multiplayer Modes:

Intro

Enter a world filled with things you may have seen but unlike you?ve never seen before. A world where you can travel the globe in one step while time to takes a day off. A world so unreal that it can only exist... in yours dreams.

About

Project Avatar (working title) is a Third Person Action RPG mod for UT3. It takes players on a mind bending, thrill ride into a world where your dreams become much more than just a dream and your memories take on a life of there own. You will be able to step into dreams of others, discover dreams that have become part of Dream World and experience how dreams can become part of you as well.


Story

Two so called treasure hunters; Ian and his reluctant student Miyuki take on a mission to deliver a message across the barrier between the Dream World and the real world. Message deliveries are not normally part of their services but it?s not everyday you get travel between the dimensions of reality and the reward didn't sound too bad either. As you would imagine this is no easy task. To do this, they must journey to the place between sleep and awake. They must go to the edge of the Dream World. Along their journey they to the edge, Ian and Miyuki discover the shocking truth behind the message they are to deliver. Now they are faced with a choice that could very well change the Dream World as they know it forever.


Notable features:


? A free form interaction and battle system that lets your play you own way with out feeling restricted by how you can defeat a boss or where you can go in the dream world.


? Players take on the form of an Avatar when they enter different dreams. Each Avatar grants you unique abilities than help you unlock the many mysteries of the Dream World.

In a world controlled completely by the state, an unfortunate chain of events leads to seemingly total chaos. The state is essentially the Religiously controlled Political Power, governing the people. The Religion uses the people?s fears to control and contain the people. Alchemy will be a recurring theme in this world. Instead of cliche magic, we have opted to go with something more organic in terms of believability? Alchemists are the true power, they understand how to control the elements, and make power weapons, and powerful aid? The Terrorist is rebelling against the Religion/society for entertainment purposes. He is entirely naive and oblivious to the gravity of his actions/alignment, and has joined a terrorist organization out of curiosity, boredom, and thrill-seeking. Given his sheltered up-bringing, the reality of the world escapes him.

Project Stealth is a UT3 Total Conversion mod based on Stealth Action Multiplayer (SAM) game play. The defending team plays from a first person shooter viewpoint while the infiltrating team plays in a third person view to aid in increasing situational awareness. Project Stealth will feature intense game play where predicting your opponents movements, misdirection, deception and your knowledge of the environment is key to succeeding in your mission.


If you are new to the concept of SAM, this is how the game works. There are two teams with 2 players each: 1 team is characterized by guns with a lot of payload, heavy armored and relatively slow elite soldiers (Mercs, from Mercenaries). The other team consists of high-tech, agile, atlethic and fast Spies with nonlethal weapons. Both teams have access to a variety of gadgets to aid them in their mission. The mercs got stuff like mines, he-grenades, camnets, gasmask etc. and three vision modes (normal, EMF, movement detector). The spies got flashbangs, smoke nades, heartbeatsensor, camo suit, noise emitters etc. and their own three vision modes (normal, nightvision, thermal vision). Mercs have first person view and will play like a regular shooter with gadgets, while spies will have third person view and will play like something close to the Prince of Persia series.


The goal for the Spies is to acquire data by hacking several terminals, placing bombs or stealing disks and extracting them to a safe location. The Mercs' purpose is to prevent that. This makes for intense gameplay, which SCPT and SCCT has proven to be a success in its niche fanbase.


We need self motivated committed people that will really try to finish what they start.

Environment Artist

-We have existing artists...but the more the better, especially if we want several maps. Will need to be able to texture and export the maps.


Level Designer

-Work with the Environment Artist and Programmers, using the Unreal Tournament Level Editor to build and balance the maps. Level editor experience necessary, but 3D software skills are not.


Prop Artists

- Create props like trees, tables, lamps and more static meshes, based on references or concepts from the Concept Artists.


Concept Artists

- Create (level/prop) concepts for visualization for the 3D modellers.

ProjectX

This modification originally started out as a Defense Of The Ancients clone for UT2004, but a lot of game design elements had changed over time that it started to become its own game.


I am currently actively prototyping this game within RoboBlitz, and it is actually working already (with multiplayer), unlike most other Unreal Engine 3 modifications which are all in 'pre-production' phases. It is possible that two versions of this game will exist, one for RoboBlitz and one for Unreal Tournament 3.


The game is heavily team based and takes a new form of cover tactics. where as most other cover games are based on the fact whether players are in cover or not, this game looks from the perspective that players are always in cover but to what extent are they in cover?


Mixed with a skill system, onslaught like map node system ... I hope this game will be unique enough to stand out against all the other mods out there.
