The Tactical Ops Series is all about the fast action-packed gameplay with terrorists fighting against Special Forces in a wide range of environments. The challenging scenarios will test both your reactions and your skill. The wide variety of weapons makes for varied gameplay, which is easy to learn but hard to master, you can get up close and personal with the Mossberg 590 or hang back with the M700 Sniper, the way you play is up to you. All of the maps are being rebuilt for TO3 to take advantage of the powerful new engine, expect some old proven favorites and also some new maps to add to the mix. We can guarantee that all of the maps will be lush and detailed without compromising the flow and gameplay. One of the unique qualities of this project is

Note: This is the ModDB profile for the Tales of Fyrndell Tech Demo to be showcased as a mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The tech demo will be the first 30 minutes to 1 hour of the full game, and will be created to give a glimpse of the story, show off our AI, and display the technology we are working on for the full game of Tales of Fyrndell. We will not be showcasing a "tutorial level." It will be the full-blown introduction to Tales of Fyrndell, completed to perfection. The Tech Demo is meant to entice investors, interest gamers, and add innovation to a lackluster suite of gaming genres. We will be releasing Tales of Fyrndell: Tech Demo by June 2007. Work is well underway. Sit tight ;) The Story Fyrndell is a land in strife after the Ten Year War. You play as a general under the Kingdom of Trythia as your forces finally take the upperhand in the war, all to unveil the true meaning for all the death and destruction, and to stop the evil forces opposing you. Trythia--a kingdom that has been at war for ten years, with its enemies getting closer and closer to the capital as each day passes. As the end of the war nears, Trythia's Supreme General unleashes his fury. The Black Legion leaves the Trythian capital, smashing through enemy fortifications while retaking land. As one of the Supreme General's subordinate commanders, you must take your legion to towns and villages in Trythia, retaking them one-by-one. As the land is retaken and power restored to the kingdom, Trythia goes on the offensive, pushing into enemy land. Arriving at an enemy city close to the border with Trythia, you witness the Black Legion's power--your Supreme General ravages the enemy city, killing every creature in sight. As the city burns to the ground, the Black Legion--and other friendly legions--move deeper into enemy territory, ravaging and murdering across the land. On this path of conquest and obliteration, you uncover something about the Supreme General--and your country--that sends shivers through your spine and goosebumps on your arms. All is not as it appears, and your world is torn upside-down. The Game Tales of Fyrndell is to be a technologically-advanced first-person real time strategy game, wherein you play the role of a general in first-person view, commanding your legion and strategising attacks against the enemy. Tales of Fyrndell will be released episodically, for a planned $30 for 10 hours of gameplay. The decision to release this episodically guarantees the fact that we can keep up with current technology while still progressing the story. We are currently modifying Oblivion to present our tech demo upon. Gamebryo, the engine powering The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, provides us enough technology to develop our tech demo upon, and the Construction Kit generously provided by Bethesda ensures we are able to create a tech demo in a quick amount of time with small resources. The design document is not currently completed. The game has been in planning since early 2004 by Dan and Josh Mattia, and its completion will be the highest point in Dan's life. "Make Peace or Die" “Talon 1-5” is a story-driven single-player and co-op mod that aims to combine realism and combat tactics with a science-fiction environment. It will put players into a war to end all wars where they will have to think in order to survive. Taking inspiration from history as well as imagination, we will strive to tell a story about the infantrymen and women of the early 22nd century and how they must persevere for survival and victory like all the Marines who preceded them. The story centers around an 12-man special forces squad, codenamed “Talon” attached to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the United States Marine Corps. As our world once again sinks into war, Talon 1-5 becomes part of the Battalion Landing Team for 31st MEU. As a special operations unit, Talon 1-5 are tasked with hunting down and detaining an influential revolutionary leader, as he may hold the key to ending the conflict before them. This classified mission will underlie their more immediate objectives in participation of the North American and Asiatic theaters of the third great war. A first person shooter at its core, “Talon 1-5” will incorporate gameplay that is both believable and tactical. However, tactical is not necessarily synonymous with slow. Players will have to work with their squad-mates to survive some of the most frantic and hectic situations that the war will throw at them. The Ball: Pehua is a first person singleplayer puzzle mod with an Aztec theme to it. The mod takes place in a mysterious Aztec temple which has only been discovered recently, at the top of a volcano. The player has to use the Impact Gun to move a large steel ball around and utilize that ball to solve puzzles and get around obstacles. Impact Gun aside, the mod uses all new custom art to establish a unique, stylish, and atmospheric experience. |

shooter series is coming - and, according to the
developers, Unreal Tournament 2007 will bring a
lot of fresh ideas and solutions. The game will
use the breathtaking Unreal 3 Engine. It is
confirmed that Bombing Run, Assault and Domination
gameplay types will be no longer included, and
will be replaced with a new massive battle Unreal
Warfare mode. Other gametypes - Deathmatch,
Capture The Flag, Team Deathmatch and Onslaught
will remain intact. There will be also changes in
weaponry and equipment - the Bio Rifle will be
merged into Canister Gun, with the Mine Layer and
Grenade Launcher. Link Gun and the mysterious
AVRiL weapon will be added. The Minigun will be
replaced with Unreal's Stinger. A number of
vechicles, as well as improved AI, voice
recognition and focus on gameplay has been also
confirmed. |

The Haunted is a multiplayer third person
shooter with human players controlling the
enemies. One player is the haunted and the other
players are demonic spirits who have to do
everything in their malevolent power to prevent
the haunted from lifting his curse. Demons have
to work together, possess creatures, place traps
and perform environmental actions to agonize and
finally kill the haunted. Whereas the haunted has
to survive and investigate eerie places to finally
liberate himself from the malediction.

The Inception, a multi-player modern deathmatch game for Unreal Tournament 3 hopes to bring a new style of deathmatch into Unreal Tournament 3. This game is set in a modern fictional universe where people can bend the fabrics of space to slow down time and alter physics for a short period. Players will have to master the new style of gaming to survive or be killed. Planned Unique Features for the mod are as listed. - Ability to slow down time for a few seconds
after completing a special feat. |

The Mutator Week program ran from the beginning of February to the end of June 2008. During this time, fledgling but promising Unreal Tournament 3 developers were invited to partake in a regular challenge - write an interesting mutator in a week, based around a theme. The oppression is a single and multiplayer modification for Unreal Tournament 3. The mod features 5 new custom weapons and 4 new custom vehicles. Although the mod is much more focused on the singleplayer, the multiplayer aspect offers about 10 new maps featuring CTF, death and teamdeathmatch modes.As more is released about UT3, we will offer the other gametypes as well. The Zombie Apocalypse:
J.E.S.T. JUST EFFIN SURVIVE TOGETHER Essence Statement As you search for a means of escape, you will uncover all the documented events leading up to and after the Zombie Apocalypse. Game Overview The player is a survivor of an initial zombie outbreak, and must complete several quests in order to escape the quarantined city full of undead. The goal of the game is not only to escape the city, but to solve the mystery of why there are zombies, and even stop them. The player must use all of their skills in order to travel from building to building, room to room, and search in all the cupboards, desks and filing cabinets in order to stock up on items and ammo. The player has a limited amount of carrying capacity and must take what they think is needed, if the player is alone, they have a larger carrying capacity, but playing with friends, they have a smaller carrying capacity and must communicate what is needed and who can carry what. If the player encounters any one of the several types of undead creatures in the game, they must either fight the undead, or flee from it. This is because the zombie will be screaming and pretty soon the populace of an entire city will be after the players with an intent to eat them. The game is over after they manage to avoid the undead, collect the items they need, search for more items they need, build vehicles, and ultimately escape the city. If all the players are killed by zombies and turned undead, the game is also over. Total Warfare for UT3 An exciting new mod for Epic Games Unreal Tournament 3 blending split second decision making, team based gameplay, and unprecedented attention to detail. Total Warfare places combatants on a highly detailed battlefield with up to 64 players per server. Play will consist of two teams fighting for control of the battlefield objectives. Details such as footstep audio clues, real-time shadows, and voice communication can possibly give away your location to nearby enemies so environmental awareness is of the essence. Weapons and Inventory Loadout affect movement speed and agility. Realistic weapons modeling and physics coupled with the power of Unreal Engine 3 aim to make Total Warfare a top contender at the next Make Something Unreal Challenge. General info about the modification: Trudvang is a mod project for Unreal Engine 3. It is an rpg mod based on one of the most popular swedish paper roleplaying games on the market. At the moment we are in concept and planning stage. We are working with the original game community to create a digital version of the roleplaying world that will be as close to the world described by Riotminds as possible. So there is a lot of knowledge and a lot of artistical talent in the team already. We also have some members of the development team with previous experience from the game industry. We have permission from the company behind the original game to create a mod based on their game world. At the moment our focus is on planning and concepts, we will then focus on creating a playable demo. This will later be shown to the community so everyone will get an idea of what we are trying to make. Also this will work as a test for us to see how well we can work together as a team. At the moment we have some concept work done, to get an idea of the style we are going for check our gallery.
